Alumni Service Week
February 15-20, 2008
There are still spaces available
for our Alumni Service Trip. There are only a few spots left so
contact the Alumni Office today to reserve your spot and receive an
application.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE

At the NSLC Alumni service program, you will have the opportunity to
work with your fellow NSLC alumni to make a real difference in an area
affected by Hurricane Katrina. Each day, you and your peers will work in
and around New Orleans, cleaning up damaged areas and lending your time
and energy to rebuilding parks, houses and playgrounds.
DEVELOP YOUR LEADERSHIP
SKILLS
Each evening you will work with nationally-renowned leadership trainer
Robert Pruitt to discover and develop the skills and techniques needed
to serve your community on a greater level. You will learn how to
develop and manage your own service projects as you identify the needs
of your community.
- Ethical Leadership
- Defining Community
- Engaging Community Resources
- Program Development
SEE HISTORIC NEW ORLEANS
During your time in New Orleans, you will also have an opportunity to
relax and reconnect with your fellow students as you explore one of
America’s great cities. Sightseeing trips may include:
- Historic French Quarter
- Audubon Zoo
- New Orleans Aquarium of the Americas
- Jackson Square
The Alumni Service Program has very
limited enrollment.
